Pamela is 11 years old and in p4 and wants to be a nurse. She has no father. Many children are raised by their mothers who work daily for food. If children do not have school fees after p7 their future is dim. By sponsoring a child you help them continue their education so they don't have to marry at an early age.

Students need adequate space to learn and work on exercises. By sponsoring a desk, you will help provide students with the space they need to achieve success in the classroom. Your contribution of $50 will provide an additional desk for a classroom. You will receive a photograph showing your name plate on the desk.
In 2023 we started a volleyball program for girls 14 and under because there were no programs available to promote confidence and leadership for girls in Rubuguri, Uganda. If girls do not go on to secondary school after primary school their future is very dim. This program has improved their grades and self esteem. With this program they get to travel outside their village which many children never get to do in their entire lifetime. To see the possibilities of a different way of living they are more likely to finish school and make their own choices going forward. If you would like to contribute to our girls volleyball program for our school please go to our donation tab. You may also donate a volleyball package below to donate to another school so they can create a program of their own. We couldn’t do this without God and donors like you. 2024 Silver Medalist Uganda Primary Schools National Games.
Please consider a $50 donation to provide a birthday party for a child. Most children have never had a cake or a party celebration for their birthday.
$50 will provide the child and their classroom with party favors, balloons and a present for the child’’s birthday.
You will receive a video and pictures of the child sponsored party.
(party supplies will also be included)
Thank you for your consideration.
(Approximately 50 students per class)
Happy Birthday to the monthly birthdays! These children have never had a birthday its because of donors like you that make this possible.

Step 3: Write Pen Pal Letters
Please follow these guidelines and ensure that the heading of each letter include the following information:

What Should Your Students Include in the Letters?
St. Kizito students are interested in the life of their Pen Pals. Information that often is included in a first letter is: How many are in your family? Do you have a pet? Do you play sports or have a musical interest? What are your favorite books, favorite foods, and favorite hobbies. The students often will draw a picture on their letters or sometimes a photo will be attached. Subsequent letters might reflect on a particular topic— perhaps you are doing a unit on poetry or learning about endangered species. Your students might want to include that topic in the letter. Some Pen Pal exchanges have even included art projects, poetry and short stories.
Step 4: Mailing the Letters
Each individual letter should be scanned electronically. Send completed electronic files or scanned letters of student works to contact@friendsofstkizitorubugurips.org, along with your school and contact information. Teachers, you are more than welcome to write a letter as well. The teachers in Rubuguri, love to correspond with teachers abroad.
We love seeing your students receiving and reading the letters so send us a picture! You can email it to contact@friendsofstkizitorubugurips.org.
